The Young Composers Meeting is an international festival in which fifteen composers from all over the world come together for a week of intensive work under the inspiring tutelage of Dutch composers Louis Andriessen, Martijn Padding, Richard Ayers and two alternating composers.
The fifteen young composers have written works for orkest de ereprijs and a choice of two female voices. The singers are students at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and are coached by professor of voice Gerda van Zelm.
The next Young Composers’ Meeting will take place from 14 – 19 February 2010.
